Hello Phil,

I just learnt from Anne that Susie had passed away yesterday. I hope that she didn’t suffer much and went away peacefully. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I am one of Susie’s RECAA friends. I only met Susie three years ago and immediately fell in love with her. Such a wonderful lady, so passionate for justice. I loved coming once in a while to her house and chatting with her while she would try to show me something on her Ipad. I always thought how wonderful that a 92-year old lady could use such a tool!

I am in France right now and very sad that I wasn’t able to come and say a last good-by before she left us. I will miss her a lot.

Please send me her autobiography when it is completed. The last time I saw her, back in October, she told me that it was almost finished and she was very happy with that thought.
